The service was very friendly and attentive. Water was always refilled immediately. We had duck, spare ribs, and steak. Everything was excellent, cooked to perfection. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We really liked the old Minstrel, so we decided to try it after the recent change of ownership. There's no comparison; the welcome is much less warm, and the food is less tasty. It's a shame, it used to be a great place.

The place is welcoming and the staff is very helpful and friendly. At lunchtime, there's a self-service restaurant with excellent options and tasty food. Convenient parking is recommended.

A bit disappointed because the reviews were quite good. The daily specials are really more like a cafeteria. The buffet isn't anything special, and you have to take everything at once from a tray. Really disappointed

A very friendly place with a lovely, well-maintained terrace. Spotless. The service is buffet-style, but the waitress is charming and very attentive to our comfort and needs. One small drawback: frozen fries, whereas homemade fries would have been a great addition, especially with the wood-fired grilled meat. A great find nonetheless.

A very aggressive waitress with no smile. Plus, she didn't ask how we wanted our meat (duck) cooked. The menu was written on a large board: we didn't appreciate it at all because you had to get up to choose, which was very inconvenient. The chef who cooked the meat was very friendly and pleasant, and I thank him for cooking our meat exactly as we requested! The duck was absolutely delicious! Well done to him! And thank you to the other waitress who was much more welcoming.

27/07/2026: The bread was stale, the meat tough and fatty, of very poor quality, and the rancid cake had clearly been spoiled in the fridge for a long time. For a newly opened establishment, I don't understand.

19/05/2026: We only had lunch, not a stay, so I can only review the restaurant. The atmosphere is charming, everything has remained faithful to the era, and they still use some pewter tableware. The service is excellent and welcoming, and the dishes are traditional and carefully prepared. I recommend it.
10/05/2026: Exceptional setting in medieval style, exquisite food and absolutely perfect service; an unforgettable evening!
