The bread was stale, the meat tough and fatty, of very poor quality, and the rancid cake had clearly been spoiled in the fridge for a long time. For a newly opened establishment, I don't understand.

Simple and welcoming setting. Smiling, discreet, and efficient waitress. Fresh produce and homemade fries. A simple and tasty meal at a very reasonable set menu price.

Le Menestrel

28/08/2026: The service was very friendly and attentive. Water was always refilled immediately. We had duck, spare ribs, and steak. Everything was excellent, cooked to perfection. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
26/08/2026: We really liked the old Minstrel, so we decided to try it after the recent change of ownership. There's no comparison; the welcome is much less warm, and the food is less tasty. It's a shame, it used to be a great place.

26/08/2026: There was a long wait to order and to be served. We were seated at a table that hadn't been cleared because we were a group, and we asked several times for it to be cleared, but to no avail. The servers were pleasant but quickly seemed overwhelmed; they all appeared new and poorly trained.
21/08/2026: A small, unpretentious restaurant; the daily menu was decent. We simply avoided the appetizers and cheese buffet because the lack of hygiene was blatant! The open bins in the entrance and next to the cash register were unwelcoming.... Luckily, we didn't get sick! In short, if we go back, it will be to a different restaurant.
