Excellent dinner at a reasonable price. Inventive and refined cuisine, beautifully presented. The owners are true professionals: the wife in the kitchen, the husband overseeing the reception and service. The setting is understated and pleasant. We finally have our go-to spot in Montélimar, and it's definitely worth the trip!

I chose this restaurant, which I've known for several years, for a meal on the terrace with my partner. I can guarantee the excellence of the cuisine, the presentation of the dishes, and the attentiveness of the staff. An allergy unknown to the staff was taken into account, and the dish was replaced. Fantastic experience at this restaurant! As a couple, we opted for the four-course set menu (two starters, a main course, and a dessert), supplemented by an additional starter, cheese platter, and dessert from the à la carte menu. It was a rather complex order, but the waiter, always smiling and attentive, was completely at ease. Everything was beautifully executed, from the starter to the dessert. Each dish was meticulously presented, both in terms of flavor and presentation. We particularly appreciated the sometimes surprising flavor combinations: exactly what we look for in a restaurant. Special mention goes to the blackberry, beetroot, and goat cheese ice cream dessert: a true delight! The cuisine is bold, refined, and well-balanced. A real personality shines through in each dish. The service was very pleasant: a friendly and witty waiter, with just the right amount of presence. The chef came to greet us at the end of our meal, a thoughtful touch we greatly appreciated. We also had the pleasure of meeting his dog, who came out at the end of service: a lovely little bonus that was the perfect end to the evening! We ate on the terrace, which was pleasant but right next to the road (so we can't comment on the interior). We will definitely return when we're back in the area!

Le Moderne is a restaurant where the food isn't exceptional, but the dishes are beautifully presented; you feel like you're a judge on Top Chef. The service is perfect. On the downside: - It's expensive: €124 for two people (€5 for a lemonade!!!) - Small portions: you leave still hungry. I don't recommend it.

On the recommendation of the tourist office, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. And we weren't disappointed. The welcome was warm, the dishes were beautifully presented, and the flavor combinations were perfect. And for the children, they finally offered something other than the usual chicken nuggets and fries: delicious ravioli that delighted both young and old 😋 A wonderful discovery! Thank you 🙏
