Great restaurant! The place is very pretty and traditional, you feel right at home.
The food is excellent and the portions are very generous.
The servers are fantastic, very friendly and professional.
Special shout-out to the one who came from Saint-Malo.

We had a fantastic time! The raclette cooked over embers was excellent (first time I've ever seen that!). The cheese and charcuterie were top quality! The waiter was amazing! He didn't hesitate to offer us more meat at no extra charge! So, both quality and quantity! The raclettes were around €30 per person.
We loved it. We didn't have room for dessert 😅 Go without hesitation!

We will cherish the memory of this authentic raclette experience at Monchu. The setting was lovely and the food delicious. We had a wonderful evening! Special mention to Mohammed, who offered helpful advice and truly enhanced the service!

The restaurant had a charming mountain village cabin atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly.
The food was, of course, delicious. The onion soup was rich and cheesy, the grilled snails were tender and juicy, and I could even taste the coconut oil. The rock-grilled beef ribs came with mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. The roasted lamb shank was perfectly stewed and incredibly flavorful; it was especially heartwarming and comforting on a chilly day. A truly memorable meal in Chamonix.

We received a very warm welcome today despite the crowd. It's definitely best to book! We were comfortably seated inside with a magnificent view. We chose the reblochonnade, a first for us and a success – an excellent dish to share with Morteau sausage. The highlights: the view, the superb service, the food, the wine list, and especially the spaciousness – we weren't crowded. Thank you again for the warm welcome!

Highly recommended if you're craving fondue and raclette!
It's a shame I couldn't try the other dishes, but
it seems like a restaurant worth recommending in Chamonix.
