A restaurant tucked away in the hills above Bourgueil, on private property. An unusual and welcoming place. The only downside is the price; expect to pay around €120 for two, but otherwise, the food is beautiful and delicious.

Best meal of our holiday around France and Spain. I had the set menu and my wife chose à la carte. All superbly cooked and very attentive service and reasonably priced. We had visited some years ago and remembered it was good but this was exceptional

We came today, and the meal, service, quality, and freshness of the products were all perfect! With the beautiful weather, we were able to enjoy the terrace, which offered a magnificent view of the plain. A highly recommended place. P.S.: We had a Wonderbox voucher and received excellent service.

16/08/2026: A little gem we stumbled upon by chance to end a weekend with friends, and it was a delight. Our VIP table, the warmth and hospitality of the owner and her daughter (with special attention to Patti the dog), the exquisite cuisine, and the perfect wine selection. Thank you so much, we highly recommend it!
10/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of the La Recré bed and breakfast. We called at 7:50 pm on a Sunday—yes, it's possible, but before 8:15 pm! We arrived, received a warm welcome, and were seated on the lovely terrace. The menu is enticing, and the surprises are what await you when you dig into your plate; there's always a little something extra! At their place, a classic dish hides a subtle surprise in flavor. They also gave excellent wine recommendations. And the friendly, welcoming service makes you want to come back. A wonderful discovery!

29/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We received a fantastic welcome from start to finish, with truly pleasant, smiling, and attentive staff. 😊 The meal was impeccable: we thoroughly enjoyed it! The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and generous. A great atmosphere that makes you want to come back. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. I highly recommend it!
29/08/2026: This was a treat! We had the three course meal for €25 and it was fabulous. We got one of the two unbooked tables for the night at 7.00pm by 8.30 all the tables were full and it was a lovely atmosphere. The starter in particular was exceptional. It's a shame it's not open more often as we had tried to go there earlier in the week. There is only one person who is front of house so the service is a little slow but she worked exceptionally hard keeping everyone served. I would definitely recommend if your in Bourgueil and it's open. Just fabulous!
