A very warm welcome, a very pleasant and unique place, excellent food that was well worth the price, and fairly quick service. Very good!

A very pleasant surprise! This old mill on the banks of the Charente is magnificent, the food is good, and the service is friendly. Perhaps a little pricey for weekday lunch, but I'll definitely be back.

I knew the Moulin de Verteuil before the recent change of ownership and its famous, remarkable flaky brioche. I went there today to discover the new offerings with a couple of friends. The talent of the new chef, the discreet and efficient kindness of the server, and the revisited charm of the place give this mill its unmissable appeal. Since the single menu offers a choice of 3 starters, then 3 main courses, and finally 3 desserts, the three of us tasted everything! An explosion of flavors, all equally intense, delicate, and refined. The offerings are full of creativity, surprises, and subtlety, each with very different characters. A fireworks display from start to finish, featuring local and authentic products. I highly recommend it, and I'll be back at the first opportunity.

A warm welcome with a fire in the magnificent stove, three choices for starters, main courses, and desserts, we enjoyed everything from appetizers to desserts. The meat was cooked at an excellent low temperature and the vegetables were tasty and tender. We will return to enjoy the terrace on the banks of the Charente. We are delighted.

Great dinner sat next to the gorgeous ceramic tiled log burner. Food was excellent, filet mignon cooked to perfection balanced flavours from the seasonal veg accompanying it. Service also excellent attentive without being over bearing. Highly recommended.
