Home Super pleasant excellent lunch especially the foie gras a real delight a fish and a good dessert but the brioche well done I have never eaten such an excellent brioche, the site is great.

The location is very beautiful and a great spot to relax and watch the fish and ducks swimming by or just watch the wier flowing. The food is really good. They sell various delicous treats to take home brioche, oils, vinegars, and savoury jellies plus some bottles of wines and other drinks. Good place to buy a gift fir someone who loves good food and drinks. I hope to go back there soon for a meal or just a coffee. I have never stayed there only popped in.

A very good peach tart dessert and a delicious homemade brioche I recommend. Too bad no menu when we came and no vegetarian option I took a vegetable dish without accompaniment, the vegetable portion could have been more generous. idyllic setting overlooking the Charente.

We booked a table outside as it's very popular here. The setting is very pretty as it's a mill and therefore next to the river. We ordered the 'plat de jour' and it was chicken breast in a herby sauce with vegetables and new potatoes. It was very nice but not very hot. (It seems that every meal we've had so far in France has been tepid!) I had creme brulé for pudding which was very nice. The lady who served us was very friendly and efficient.

25/02/2024: We had a lovely meal here. All the food was piping hot, fresh and generous portions. We were very well looked after, nothing was too much trouble, even for the toddler in our group - a big thank you to Lesley and Jess for making our night very special. Will definitely recommend!
30/01/2024: A real favorite ! The whole team is available, pleasant and very helpful. The food is excellent. Bravo to all of you. I recommend with your eyes closed.
