After tour of Palais des Papes, spotted this outdoor restaurant for a spot of brunch, what a find, lovely food, lovely atmosphere, great staff, nothing too mch trouble, and good value for a tourist spot.

We took a mixed board (charcuterie + cheese) for €30 for 2. After waiting 30 minutes to realize that the waiter had forgotten to ask for our board, it finally arrived. A little weak compared to other platters tasted: 1 slice of raw ham, 1 slice of cooked ham, 10 slices of sausage, 6 pieces of cheese... For 2 it's really fair value... Rest the friendly waiter and the view of the palace

Le Moutardier du Pape is a restaurant which offers dishes at reasonable prices and the setting is very pleasant, you let yourself be carried away by the decor The staff is welcoming, special mention for #Doriant. I recommend it to you

We had a great time in this restaurant with a view of the Palais des Papes. The servers were pleasant. The fast service, I had mentioned that we have the tour of the palace after our meal. The food was excellent, my partner and I enjoyed ourselves. Nothing to say it was perfect Remember to book carefully

Très bon vin (la nuit tous les chats sont gris) ; premier resto sudistes vendant de la duvel! Petit repas sur le pouce avant la visite du palais ; très bonne assiette ! C’était pas mal tout ça

La Vieille Fontaine

31/08/2024: Fantastic location, will stay there again.
03/08/2024: A very well-kept hotel with history. The staff is very polite and accommodating, our room was at a perfect temperature despite the outside temperature of 37 degrees thanks to the air conditioning running. The furnishings are old but very stylish and high quality. All in all a beautiful place in Avignon. We will be back.
