Excellent meal with a good selection of dishes and wines by the glass.
Good advice on wine pairings. Good value for money (€40 for a starter, main course, and dessert). We returned two days later and had the same great experience. The only slight drawback was a bit of a wait at the end of the meal to order dessert, but the terrace was full.
(However, this isn't enough to warrant removing one or two stars, as some reviews suggest.)

We enjoyed the food: we tried the fish dishes, which are the restaurant's specialty. They were delicious: the perch fillets and the smoked trout were excellent. The "bistro" feel is evident in the somewhat impersonal service. The service is very quick: we were looking for a more relaxed experience, and we felt rushed, but for those in a hurry, it's efficient.

Perfectly cooked steaks and delicious food all around. My boys said it was the best filet they've had
All the dishes were excellent - we also tried the perch, beef tartare, fois grass, and the smoked trout. Loved every dish and looking forward to a return visit. No pics of the steaks - kids dug in before I could snap a Pic! Also - dessert was incredible.

A very nice establishment, a great place. Yes, parking is a bit of a hassle, but hey, you're in Evian-les-Bains 😅 (it's normal)...
Before going to a restaurant, I always look at the menu online, and that's how I choose where to eat.
I had the €40 set menu: starter (ravioli), main course (pork loin), and Saint-Marcellin cheese... I really appreciated the option of having cheese instead of dessert (I don't eat dessert).
The value for money was excellent... the food was cooked perfectly, and the service was great too... No complaints whatsoever.
Thanks to the team, I'll recommend it to my friends.
P.S.: I'm a sous-chef and have been in the business for years, so I'm more demanding and critical than the average person.

A warm and very friendly welcome. The perch fillets from Lake Geneva were delicious. A very generous portion. The pork loin with creamy polenta was a real treat. Thank you to the whole team for their sense of humor.

In October 2023, I posted the review below.
Since then, I've returned a few times with my partner. Always excellent in every way.
My last visit was on August 4, 2026, with the same menu as in October 2023. Excellent. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace with a lovely Corsican rosé. My partner had the €40 menu, and it was equally perfect.
So, I reiterate my comments from October 2023!
Excellent in every way. Original cuisine. Very affordable prices. Warm atmosphere. Pleasant setting. Friendly staff. Oh, the snails and the whole veal kidney cooked on the griddle! Everything is delicious.
