Le New Orlean's sur Marseillan

02/12/2025: A very beautiful place, but although the name remains, the chef at La Table d'Emilie has changed, as has the quality. Never disappointed by the "historic" restaurant, I didn't find its signature style here. The cuisine aims for (too) innovation, but some combinations don't work. The starter was rather simplistic: a zucchini blossom stuffed with a bland filling and accompanied by four small mussels that seemed out of place. The squab was very good, but a small gratin dauphinois or mashed potatoes would have been welcome, as we were left wanting more. The dessert was unremarkable, and to top it all off, the second choice of starter wasn't available that day (even though it was cuttlefish-based, not hard to find), and the turbot offered as a main course was also unavailable. It's a shame; another (very) good restaurant has disappeared.

09/11/2025: My first visit was enchanting. This one less so, probably because we were a table of 4, and we had to order the same menu for everyone...and it had flavors based around coffee (a drink I hate).
