Meal purchased during a group outing. The restaurant overlooks a river and a small wooden bridge. The starter was a casserole of scallops and pink shrimp, followed by a plate of chicken, French fries, and mixed vegetables, and finally a caramelized tuile with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, red berries, and whipped cream. A real treat! 🤤

An excellent discovery! A warm welcome, quite different from what some reviews suggest. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The menus offer good value for money given the quality of the products. We highly recommend it and will keep this address in mind if we return to the area.

This restaurant is recommended without hesitation! Very warm welcome from the staff. All the dishes served to us were excellent and very well presented (a special mention for the dessert, peach Melba style, a delight!)

02/12/2025: We were just passing through and looking for a place to have lunch. La Cantine Des Chefs came up as a suggestion and we weren't disappointed! The daily special was good, and I had a carrot cake for dessert which was delicious and very generous (the slice was huge 😂). We managed to get a table despite the crowd, it seems to be doing well! The staff was friendly, the girls were smiling and helpful, it's a great place 👍🏻
25/11/2025: The best hot chocolate I've ever had 👌, and it was perfectly hot, not scalding! Delicious pastries, especially the filled cookie. Very welcoming! A cozy, classy place. We'll definitely be back!

03/01/2026: The food was very good, and the servers were excellent. However, when it came time to pay, a very obnoxious and completely drunk man was serving. Please ask him to leave as he was very unpleasant.
02/01/2026: On the way to visit the sublime Valley of the Saints, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant in Carhaix. A pleasant surprise: the homemade dishes were generous and the service efficient and friendly. Thank you for supporting restaurateurs who strive to offer delicious menus at the best value.
