Le Pain Quotidien Vieux Lille sur Lille

I was disappointed by the pain au chocolat which must have been from this morning, therefore not very fresh.

I'm quite disappointed with this place. I came to have brunch at Le Pain Quotidien and had often seen long queues. However, I was very disappointed by the exorbitant price, but especially by the quality of the food… The bacon was sour and dry, and the toast was sparsely filled. In short, I'm disappointed. On the other hand, the pastries are very good, but again, expensive. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

A very bad experience. The prices are extremely high, which naturally leads one to expect that the quality of the food and service will be up to par. Unfortunately, this was not the case. From the moment we ordered, the waiter was unable to take our order in full and had to ask a colleague to take over. This lack of competence made for a very poor first impression. Regarding the food, I ordered French toast which arrived badly burnt, to the point that I couldn't finish it. Furthermore, the bread didn't seem fresh, which is particularly disappointing for such a simple dish, especially considering the price. The value for money is very disappointing. At this price point, one expects fresh ingredients, expertly cooked food, and impeccable service. Unfortunately, my experience failed to meet any of these expectations. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this establishment.

Had a really delicious meal at this nice restaurant. The restaurant is child-friendly, serves tasty food, and is reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

I highly recommend it! And I especially recommend the feta and spinach quiche.

Lepainquotidien once stood for very good food, tasty with fresh products, it stood for friendliness, it stood for a cosy atmosphere. Unfortunately neither of these were present. We had to wait over half an hour with 1/3 of it occupied.

The sandwich was decent, however the wait was too long for a takeaway order.

It's always a pleasure to spend some time in this restaurant to relax and have lunch.

Slow service. Not great value for money.

Endless wait for a single, very simple (French toast) and very expensive dish… Nice decor and products that looked good (I didn't taste them) but what a disappointment to wait so long and pay so much…
