We arrived at 6:54 PM instead of 7:00 PM. We were left standing and waiting, knowing that I am a person with a disability and that the terrace was crowded. Between the main course and dessert, we had to ask for the menu. The waitress came once to ask for it and never returned, so we didn't order dessert. Someone was smoking in the back; the smell was awful, especially while eating. The men's restroom smelled like feces because the women's restroom had been occupied for a long time. The music outside was very loud, making it difficult to talk. Overall, a mixed experience.

We had a wonderful evening. Excellent service, very attentive staff. A lovely menu and generous, delicious portions. I highly recommend it.

The owner's welcome was very poor, not very inviting, but fortunately the waitress was very friendly. As for the salads we ordered, they were very generous with large slices of foie gras. The red fruit panna cotta was also very good. In short, a pleasant meal in a lovely setting near the Erdre river.

I like this restaurant, its terrace overlooking the Erdre river. I ate well; the charcuterie board was good, and my escalope was also delicious with vegetables. However, I have to complain about the tasteless spritz: sparkling water and ice cubes for €10! Ouch! And my peach Melba: three scoops of ice cream piled high with whipped cream and a peach wedge—that's vanilla ice cream! You need to rethink your approach! Thank you.

Still as good as ever! The terrace is ideal, the team is lovely and efficient, the pizzas are divine, guaranteeing a very good time.

Despite a large table of 16 people, the service was impeccable. All the dishes were brought out at the same time, the ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. The terrace was pleasant. One drawback: a larger awning would be better for protection against the midday sun.

Osteria Rotello & Co

09/09/2026: Excellent osteria in the heart of the Charonne district, which has changed so much (for the better!). The menu was quite short, but a good indication that the dishes are homemade, fresh daily, and regularly updated – we wanted to try everything (which we did). The appetizers (which we shared) were superb: a variation with Japanese influences on Italian classics, very creative and successful. The main courses were perhaps a notch below the initial explosion of flavors – but still very tasty, especially the tuna, which literally melted in your mouth. The only dessert (tiramisu) was rich and creamy, perhaps lacking a touch of amaretto (or alcohol in general). The portions are generous and the prices reasonable in the current climate. We couldn't finish our meal and got takeout. The servers were all lovely, very smiley, cheerful, and attentive. My daughters particularly enjoyed the slightly retro decor. The wine list was very impressive and detailed (notably attributing each Italian wine to its region of origin), but I can't comment on it as we weren't in the mood to drink (and there was no pressure whatsoever). It's a place we plan to return to; thank you for this excellent experience!
