30/03/2024: Enthusiastic to discover this bar after reading the rave reviews I was quickly put off. Poor welcome, distressingly slow service, no happy hour, exorbitant cost of a pint, inconsistent decoration, poorly arranged space layout... Le Beau bar would be better named Bobard
29/03/2024: I happened to pass by this charming bar.
I was very well received there by the owner, with whom I was able to have a great time.
The cocktails I ordered were very good, and the atmosphere really added something to it all.
I highly recommend this Beau Bar ;)

Establishment, exterior setting.
Evening with a long-planned event, no accompaniment for the aperitif (sausage).
Pleasant service and very good margharita*.

31/03/2024: Pleasant service, warm welcome, the pasta was very good, with several vegetarian options. Good wine list. Nice view of the Erdre.
29/03/2024: Lunch had at this restaurant last week. The decoration and setting are very pleasant.
The pizzas we ordered were not very good. Especially the vegetarian one which arrived filled with vegetables (especially mushrooms), it was bland and mushy, certainly due to the water that the mushrooms must have released. Given the price of pizza, it's very surprising to have such low quality.
The waitress asked us for our opinion when collecting the plates, so we expressed the fact that the pizzas were not to our taste but that given the price we were still going to take the leftovers home with us.
The manager arrived immediately, annoyed with a condescending tone to tell us that we had no arguments, that all their customers like their pizza (and therefore a priori we are not their customer?). The icing on the cake, he comes back and tells us provocatively that he won't charge us for the boxes of pizzas (boxes which are always free...).
A “I’ll say it in the kitchen, sorry” would have been enough to avoid this comment. Of course no commercial gesture was made. I never post reviews on the Internet, but paying €16.50 for a bad pizza AND being looked down upon and provoked by a manager is too much.
I don't recommend it at all and we won't set foot there again.
