Certainement la meilleure table de Fontainebleau. L’accueil est impeccable tout comme le service. Je vous conseille de manger dans la véranda, l’ambiance y est très agréable. A faire absolument.

A lovely place where the cuisine is homemade, with good products and refined. We had the evening menu with 2 varied and excellent options. Special mention for the semi-cooked chocolate and ice cream! Thank you to the whole team for this good time

Of the seven restaurant-level restaurants in Paris and Provins that I visited during this trip, this was the one that suited my taste the most, was delicious, and had a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended as a good restaurant near Fontainebleau. Satisfaction is high due to the good balance of flavors and good plating. I wasn't very satisfied with the restaurants recommended by various restaurant bloggers and YouTubers, so I found this restaurant on a purely personal basis after looking at the menu photos on Google Maps. Also, this is the only restaurant on this trip to Paris that I intend to visit again.

Bon accueil, service impeccable dans un cadre bucolique, près d’une route passante mais aucun bruit. Vraiment charmant. Une cuisine raffinée et savoureuse.

Very beautiful residence of character with careful and very cozy decoration giving a warm atmosphere. A very friendly welcome and impeccable service, from very professional, attentive and smiling staff. A quality, tasty brunch, the plates are very well presented, full of colors and flavors, fresh products very well cooked. A delight . A very nice discovery. Thanks to the whole team . 07/09/2024: Warm team, refined cuisine, from starter to dessert. Good wines. Return to L'Axel in September 2024 = still recommendable.
03/09/2024: Second time here and such a wonderful experience. First time was a winter menu. This time it was summer. This is Japanese inspired French dining, with delicate artistry on a plate. Each course preceded by a refreshing tasting morsel. Everything was light but filling, a delight to eat and look at. Well worth the price for a special night out.

L'Hirondelle Creperie

20/08/2024: A crêpe (plain white flower) or galette breton (also buckwheat) to die for! Thin, crispy and fondant at the same time and good quality ingredients. The 'Soubise' with ham, cheese, egg and onions is great. Onions not to heavy in cream. Still subtle enough not to overpower the rest of the flavours. A big jug of cider on the side and maybe a small salad. In combination with the very friendly service in this cosy place you consider yourself in pancake heaven!
