Great time with friends. The welcome was great, a small, unpretentious restaurant but with very nice food.

What a treat to stumble upon this place! The staff were super friendly, and the food was incredibly presented and delicious, not to mention the menu is a great deal. The tuna steak and tuna tataki were highlights. Would definitely recommend for anyone searching for dinner in Saint Jean de Luz!

We chose this place by chance, and it was a good choice. The salmon fillet was very good and a good size. The mussel casserole was flavorful and plentiful, although quite small. The service was friendly, and the restaurant is on a charming street.

Mixed, really a shame because everything was there. The wait, a waitress thrown off balance by two really annoying night shifts, resulting in spoiled service, and I realize that the bill doesn't match what I ordered. (I was in a hurry and didn't check properly.) I say it's a shame because the food was good and well presented... The music, however, was way too loud, which spoiled everything.

Amazing food! The thun entrée was delicious and the tataki with wasabi was surprising! When passion for food is more than the simple looks of the restaurant.

With so many restaurants in the city center, it's not easy to know where to go when you're just passing through. Well, we had the opportunity to find a friendly and welcoming welcome, then a cuisine prepared with fresh produce, beautifully presented and flavorful seasoning, and the added bonus of discovering a white Rueda!! All managed by a small, very young team, it deserves 5 stars!! No menu offered, but a à la carte menu with a few suggestions; it's the choice of fresh produce! We had a great time on a warm evening, don't change a thing, good luck to you!!

15/01/2026: We visited La Boete in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and loved the experience. It's a nautical bistro right in the city center, with a very special atmosphere where the Atlantic is present in everything, even the details of the place. We tried several dishes to share, and they were all excellent: haddock tartare, house-made foie gras, tuna ham with hummus, herring tartare with beetroot and capers, and a truly delicious fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce. For dessert, we ordered their crème brûlée "their way," with pineapple at the base. It's a different take on the classic, interesting and well-executed. If you're in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and enjoy good food, this is a highly recommended stop. Good ingredients, excellent preparation, and a lovely atmosphere.

20/01/2026: Nico gave us a very warm welcome. The sharing platter was delicious. The Basque cake was divine. A very pleasant experience. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.
18/01/2026: It was the January sunshine and the friendly service that made us want to stop and eat on the terrace. The meal lived up to expectations, and we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend it.
