Le Perroquet sur Antibes

It says pull on the door, but when we came inside we were met with a welcome that seemed slightly pushy for foreigners who needed to orient themselves first. Actually we were met with a very receptive staff who were eager to do their job. The staff immediately sensed that we needed to take it down a notch. What followed was the best dining experience we enjoyed during our stay in Antibes. Their restaurant is a bit more expensive than many of the restaurants in the area but we both enjoyed a 3 course menu for 40 euro, the wine was fine and the service throughout the meal impeccable: attentive yet restrained - old school service. A nice room with space between the tables…One could also sense that many of the customers were ‘regulars’. The restaurant was pretty full for a Monday night. A good sign. Spend a little more - it’s really worth it.
