Le petit cochon sur Lyon

We came to this restaurant hoping for authentic Japanese dishes, but found a menu similar to those found in French-language chain restaurants. Furthermore, when making a reservation, several seating areas are offered, including "traditional," and we were hoping for something more Japanese, but once again, we were given a standard table and chairs. However, the food itself was decent. If you're looking for a unique restaurant experience, you'll be disappointed. As for the staff, they were pleasant.

A wonderful restaurant, well located and, above all, excellent. The service was impeccable; I highly recommend the signature dishes. Go without hesitation.

Fantastic! The food was excellent, and the service was great too. They went out of their way to find us a table, and because of the wait (which was very short and we'd been warned about; we asked if it was possible to wait for a table), we were given six free tempura maki. That's incredibly kind of them! I highly recommend it!

I ended up at an excellent Japanese restaurant. The decor and furnishings are quite modern and very pleasant. For starters: "CHICKEN GYOZA" (x5) =>These crescent-shaped Japanese dumplings were simply delicious. "KARAAGE CHICKEN" (x6) =>A traditional Japanese fritter made with fried chicken marinated in garlic and ginger. The combination of these two spices gives it a unique and truly excellent flavor! Main course: "JAPANESE CURRY CHICKEN" =>An iconic and popular dish in Japan. Unlike Indian curry, Japanese curry is smoother, sweeter, and less spicy. The portion of chicken was just right, and the rice was plentiful. The vegetables added very pleasant extra flavors. Dessert: "MOCHI" - vanilla (x2) and spearmint (x2), topped with whipped cream. =>This is a Japanese specialty made from glutinous rice that's cooked and pounded until it becomes a dense, elastic, and melt-in-your-mouth dough. Incredibly soft! The whipped cream was an excellent touch. The spearmint flavor is less pronounced than the vanilla but remains subtle and pleasant at the end. This restaurant proves that you don't necessarily need to go to Japan to eat delicious Japanese food. I highly recommend it!

A very warm welcome awaits you at the restaurant. The bobun is delicious and, above all, generous! The seasoning is perfect, nothing to complain about :)

The platter is nicely presented, it's pretty. The ingredients are fresh, the sushi is good. The same goes for the gyoza.
