Le Petit Gourmand sur Tarbes

The dinner we had was truly excellent. I personally enjoyed the succulent sweetbreads, and the other guests all thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The fresh, high-quality ingredients were cooked to perfection. The welcome was very pleasant, and the dining room was charming. In this heatwave, it was so nice to eat in a cool place. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.

We had lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered à la carte, but the restaurant also offers a very appealing set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €23 at lunchtime. The ravioli was delicious. The service was excellent as well.

An intimate place, with lovely owners, delicious food, and excellent wines…it was a special moment for us, just siblings, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves… I suggested decorating the walls for a change…kisses to this wonderful team. Michel Lacaze, professional painter.

A fantastic experience from start to finish! For my starter, I had the legendary Caesar salad: perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. For my main course, the fish of the day—meagre—was cooked to perfection, accompanied by roasted asparagus and delicious condiments (tomatoes, onions, olives, etc.) that added a wonderful burst of freshness and flavor. A real treat! And to finish, a perfectly caramelized, melt-in-your-mouth, and decadent tarte Tatin, just the way we like it. Special mention to the waiter, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming from beginning to end. It made the experience even better. A truly wonderful restaurant with carefully prepared, flavorful dishes and a real attention to detail. I will definitely be back!

Excellent! Although we're from Tarbes, we hadn't been back to this restaurant for at least 20 years… Very indulgent—it lives up to its name—and very pleasant! Rich and hearty dishes made with very fresh, local ingredients. A good selection of local wines, especially if you like Madiran. Delicious desserts without being too sweet. In short: go!

A first visit to this refined restaurant. Everything was delicious: perfectly portioned plates of incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented dishes, and a cozy dining room.
