Le Petit Gourmand sur Tarbes

A very good restaurant that we like to return to whenever we're in Tarbes, despite the service which always makes us feel like we're bothering them! For us, it will be the last time, given that dogs aren't allowed, which I understand.

A refined, family-run restaurant. The unusual service provided by the young son, around ten years old, is inconsistent with this type of establishment! The welcome and service were not particularly warm. The menu is gourmet and varied, but expensive.

Lunch menu at €23. Pleasant setting. Friendly and professional staff. Beautifully presented and very tasty dishes. I recommend it.

The dinner we had was truly excellent. I personally enjoyed the succulent sweetbreads, and the other guests all thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The fresh, high-quality ingredients were cooked to perfection. The welcome was very pleasant, and the dining room was charming. In this heatwave, it was so nice to eat in a cool place. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.

We had lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered à la carte, but the restaurant also offers a very appealing set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €23 at lunchtime. The ravioli was delicious. The service was excellent as well.

An intimate place, with lovely owners, delicious food, and excellent wines…it was a special moment for us, just siblings, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves… I suggested decorating the walls for a change…kisses to this wonderful team. Michel Lacaze, professional painter.

What a great find! It's the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back as soon as you leave 🙂

A fantastic experience from start to finish! For my starter, I had the legendary Caesar salad: perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. For my main course, the fish of the day—meagre—was cooked to perfection, accompanied by roasted asparagus and delicious condiments (tomatoes, onions, olives, etc.) that added a wonderful burst of freshness and flavor. A real treat! And to finish, a perfectly caramelized, melt-in-your-mouth, and decadent tarte Tatin, just the way we like it. Special mention to the waiter, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming from beginning to end. It made the experience even better. A truly wonderful restaurant with carefully prepared, flavorful dishes and a real attention to detail. I will definitely be back!
