The place is very pretty, but the service is extremely slow and the dishes are really overpriced 😳 Two glasses of champagne and one main course each; €100 with tiny portions, what a shame, a bit disappointed!!!

Excellent place, very nice location, ask for table with the view to the Cathedral. Food is great. Selection of wine is exceptional : local great wines. Service can be always improved, but people are nice and genuinely trying to make your experience. Merci!

We were very disappointed with our visit… The exterior setting is lovely, but the atmosphere was gloomy and unwelcoming, the food was disappointing and tasteless. The waiters had stained trousers and cat hair on their polo shirts… Not great for a restaurant that aims to be upscale.

I recently arrived in Montpellier. Friends suggested I come to Le Petit Jardin. And it was a wonderful discovery! The dining room and the food were excellent, and everyone was incredibly attentive. We had a fantastic time. Thank you for the experience!

We had a lovely time at Le Petit Jardin restaurant. The service was impeccable and welcoming. We opted for the Le Petit Jardin set menu, which I highly recommend. The starter and main course were delicious, with the slight reservation about the Paris-Brest, whose praline flavor could perhaps have been a little more pronounced. We absolutely loved the white wine and the black pudding. In short, a restaurant that lives up to its reputation.

A beautiful house and a warm atmosphere upon arrival. The menu is interesting, both for the wines and the dishes, and the meal is generally well-executed with attentive service. However, the open kitchen is surprising: no greetings or smiles from the kitchen staff, from the chef to the commis chefs (perhaps more interested in the Six Nations tournament than the customers). Some even walk through the dining room without saying good evening. Once the bill is paid, there are no thank yous or goodbyes either. The place is decent and the meal enjoyable, but the politeness and welcome need improvement. It's important to remember that this is a place for conviviality and sharing.

This is my third time at this restaurant, and it's definitely my favorite by far. The food is excellent, truly divine; I enjoy it every time! They really work with the ingredients and the different flavors—it's a delight for the taste buds. Plus, the outdoor setting is absolutely beautiful.

26/04/2026: Honestly, we were served in 10 minutes on a Saturday night, amazing! It was delicious. The waiter was super friendly, in short... after a movie, it was perfect.
22/04/2026: Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated comfortably. The servers were very polite and helpful. We ordered two excellent mocktails 👍 The restaurant has a lovely decor, but we were bothered by fruit flies. My partner ordered a ribeye steak, which was very good, no complaints there. I had a duck skewer with two large bell peppers and large pieces of onion. The meat was good, but I kept finding sinew on every piece. Furthermore, I didn't find the vegetables very interesting; the bell peppers still had the seeds, they were slightly charred, and the onions were bland. They weren't seasoned, although the Béarnaise sauce was excellent. To conclude, it was still a good experience, and I highly recommend the ribeye steak.

29/03/2026: 24h front desk, great staff, clean, good wifi, just a great hotel.
24/03/2026: A major drawback of this hotel: the room doors either don't lock or are very difficult to lock even after being manipulated by staff at our request. This is unsettling; fortunately, we weren't robbed. The hairdryer was broken, and they offered to lend us one as compensation. However, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very kind and attentive. Good location.
