A must-try!!!!! Nothing to complain about from the food to the service. A top-notch waiter who knows how to please the customer with a kindness and politeness that some could learn a thing or two from. Well done to the whole team!!! While on a business trip, this restaurant was recommended to us by local colleagues. What a pleasant surprise! We ate there three out of four nights because we enjoyed the food and service so much. A culinary gem near the main square. Thank you.

A very warm welcome from the staff and a very pleasant, inn-like atmosphere, perfect for a convivial meal. However, several aspects detracted from the overall experience: The drinks: A 33cl beer at €7.10 is particularly expensive for the quantity, especially when nearby pubs offer quality pints for between €5 and €7. The main course: The andouillette sausage is a good, locally sourced, artisanal product, and the fries and fresh vegetables are delicious. Unfortunately, the andouillette was undercooked throughout (served lukewarm/cold in the center). Furthermore, for a dish costing €18.50, the portions of fries and vegetables were rather small. I still finished my plate, and the ingredients are clearly of good quality. A total bill of €38 for a dish, two 33cl beers and half a bottle of water is still acceptable, but a few adjustments to the cooking, the quantities and the price of the beers would make the experience truly optimal.

Three birthdays to celebrate. We booked for nine people. The welcome was very warm, the food delicious, and the prices reasonable for a restaurant located in the Arras squares. The interior is lovely, with the charm of a cellar! The service was perfectly managed, with smiles and impeccable timing, especially for the arrival of desserts: candles, music, ambiance... not a single false note! Our waiter was delightful and discreet, even giving us time to open our presents at our leisure. We could tell he had a busy schedule to manage, as we weren't the only table, and he also had to constantly go up and down the stairs, rushing with trays, but at no point did he rush us or make us feel the slightest bit stressed. We were truly well received and don't regret for a minute choosing to celebrate our birthdays at Le Petit Rat Porteur. We highly recommend it. As for us, we've already decided where to go next year! Thank you a thousand times!
