Le Petit Restaurant sur Ajaccio

Chance does things well... After a guided tour of Ajaccio, my husband, my dog ​​and I are looking for where to have dinner, knowing that we had not planned or looked for anything. A little research later, we arrived in this very small restaurant, a cozy and warm little setting. We ask if Toutou is admitted here. She is more than admitted there. She is welcomed there with a very pretty water bowl, full of water and ice cubes. 5 star service! Unable to choose between meat and fish, we choose the menu which contains both. Fortunately, because we would have missed incredible things if we had taken the "small" menu. From starter to dessert, it was a symphony of flavors. A subtle blend of originality and known tastes, delicious and comforting. I hate onions, this place made me eat them and appreciate them too! The mushroom starter was divine, the perfect egg (with lots of onions) excellent, the fish with forgotten vegetables of incredible finesse, the duck breast and purée exquisite, and the dessert... Both sweet and surprising, melting and crunchy. It was so good that it tasted like too little. The meal comes with bread and butter, on par with the rest. In short, it’s an address that deserves to be known. We loved it and will recommend it to all our friends. We'll come back!

The restaurant exclusively offers a set menu, with no à la carte options, which caught us by surprise as we couldn't find any information about this beforehand. There are two choices: €80 per person for six courses, or €100 per person for more than six. While most of the dishes were excellent, the desserts fell short. One had an overpowering citrus flavor, and the other contained wine, which left an unpleasant aftertaste.

Very good meal regarding the starter and the fish main course. On the other hand, disappointed by an ordinary dessert (a watermelon sorbet with a few slices of figs) certainly washed down with a sparkling muscat but without any research. What can we say about the coffee served without sugar or any small appetizers and yet there is no shortage of canistrellis in the region. And then also disappointed that we were served the same glass of wine in the 3 wine formula for dessert when we had had a Muscat for the aperitif. It seems like there is only one Muscat on the menu. Ultimately disappointed for a restaurant recommended by Michelin

I regret not being a Michelin guide to award 1 star to this little restaurant. Delicious lunch in every way, a total success. Thank you to your entire team.

Small place in the center of Ajaccio. 5 or 7 course tasting menu only. You can choose meat or fish but you don't know what will be brought. The dishes are good and original. Maybe the price is a little high but it's fine for a quiet dinner! The recommended wine was also good

Lovely meal! We did the 7 course tasting menu and were very pleased with how unique and thoughtful each dish was individually and as a whole. We do not speak French, but found it easy to interact with all the staff at the restaurant. I highly recommend visiting!
