It's not expensive, but the welcome and service more than make up for this minor drawback.

The owner was very arrogant, as we only wanted to order light meals. The food was good, and so was the service. As a tourist, the owner only cares about your wallet; he doesn't care about the customer. We didn't go back; there are other nice restaurants.

Came here for steak and chips, it was reasonably priced and the steak was beautifully tender. Nice ambience here too, not too busy but cosy and friendly, lovely staff and good atmosphere.

Located at the edge of the city center, it's rather quiet. We had two different tarte flambées, which were good. The menu was rather small. The service was very friendly and quick.

The "sot l'y laisse" (a type of savory tart) is excellent, very generous! The flammekueches are great. And the service is top-notch!! The waitress is very cheerful, smiling, and welcoming. Definitely a great place to eat.

Citron Et Basilic

26/08/2026: It's located inside the Colmar market and has a simple menu. We tried the quiche and the charcuterie tart, and they were delicious. It's a small place run by two waiters; all the tables were occupied, and there were people waiting, but the service was quick, they were very friendly, and the food was good. The price was more than reasonable.
14/08/2026: Excellent place to stop for lunch in the Colmar market. Recommended, simple, traditional dishes. The waitress was very helpful.
