The food was good, but the service needs improvement. The waitress saw fit to share, in a completely inappropriate manner, her xenophobic views on immigration to Portugal, and to point out that "at least there everyone eats pork, there's no halal." A real shame, because the meal itself was excellent.

Excellent bistro, probably the best we tried in Paris. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are more than fair. I recommend taking the menu bistronomique, which offers a sampling of the day's menu and a good portion of wine for 50 euro. It feels like they take the quality of the products very seriously and aim to offer a memorable dining experience. It's worth the detour!

26/05/2026: It's hard to find anything negative to say about the Hotel Florus. A survivor of the family-run hotel industry and the service that goes with it. Friendly, dedicated staff—a real pleasure. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't very soundproof. But I would still go back.
20/05/2026: The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but it's been renovated. The room was spacious and pleasant. However, the bathroom was quite small. The bedding was impeccable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was good, but only offered sweets, which might be a bit limited depending on your taste. The real drawback is the soundproofing: you can easily hear what's happening in the hallway and in neighboring rooms. The bathroom ventilation vent opens directly onto the street, which also lets in outside noise.
