Le Piano Qui Fume sur Dijon

Passing through Dijon, we decided on "Le Piano qui fume" (The Smoking Piano). Dinner was perfect from start to finish: an aperitif with an excellent olive cake to whet our appetites, followed by a chilled zucchini and Comté cheese soup as an amuse-bouche (very refreshing in the heat). For my discerning partner: roasted duck breast with red pepper and Savora mustard emulsion, then a cheese plate from Burgundy and Franche-Comté, and to finish, a soft dark chocolate cake with passion fruit sorbet. For me: "Fresh from the market" fish (salmon that day) and a peach salad with lemon and olive oil, served with verbena ice cream. The meal was divine, the service impeccable, and the setting pleasant with beautiful exposed stone walls. I'm keeping the menu for our next trip to Dijon.

Incredibly delicious and high-quality local food. Wines from the immediate area that taste very good. For those who want to enjoy artisanal and high-quality food.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this restaurant was so delicious that I felt compelled to write one. It was probably one of the best meals I had in France. The owner was also very kind, which made the overall experience even better. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

Exceptional!! What a lovely discovery!

The food was excellent; a very good place for regional cuisine. The selection wasn't huge, but the dishes were cooked to perfection. The service was also very pleasant and unobtrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Le Piano Qui Fume.

There were four of us at "Le Piano Qui Fume." This small but charmingly decorated restaurant, with its very attentive and courteous waiter, was a real surprise in Dijon. The food (a three-course menu) was fantastic and absolutely exquisite. The wine selection is concise, with many good wines at fair prices. As they say, "Small but perfectly formed." A hidden gem in Dijon's old town. Reservations are a must, as there are only a few tables!

Excellent food, excellent service

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always been extremely satisfied. Excellent value for money, a warm welcome, and a cuisine with varied flavors.
