Le Pied De Nez sur Le Castellet

24/07/2026: Magnificent view and a dream location for a pleasant meal, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We were served by a waitress who was a caregiver on her first night, who told us her life story and even bumped a cigarette off us. We ordered a terrine and a rare steak, and after 10 minutes, we were told the terrine was no longer available and the steak would take 45 minutes to arrive. We accepted the terrine change and waited without any problem, but we received a medium-rare steak. Immediately afterward, the chef arrived to apologize, offered us the steak, and then made us wait another 20 minutes for our ordered rare steak, which was a pleasant surprise and very tasty. No regrets. Unfortunately, no more waitresses arrived until the end of the meal, and it took 25 minutes to pay at the till due to a problem with the cash register. The chef then offered us a digestif and the cost of our drinks to apologize for the service issue. The current situation in all departments leaves much to be desired, and we completely understand that. The owner is very dedicated and aware of the service issues. We wish him the best of luck and, despite our experience, encourage you to go and enjoy a wonderful meal with an unforgettable view. Laure and JP

24/07/2026: A wonderful discovery for me! The view is breathtaking and the food is absolutely delicious. The charcuterie boards are excellent and generously portioned, and for meat lovers, this is the restaurant to go to. I highly recommend it!
