Le Roy d'Ys sur Le Castellet

A really pleasant crêperie (and more) on one of the village squares, with a shaded terrace. The menu is extensive, with many different crêpes, salads, mountain specialties in the off-season, tartares, ice cream... A big plus for the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients. The prices are very reasonable for the location (it's no wonder it's so popular, unlike the other overpriced restaurants in the village), and the service was genuinely friendly and efficient. The Margarita was very good, but the Virgin Mojito was too sweet. An excellent spot for lunch.

We had a wonderful time at the crêperie Le Roy d’Ys, in the heart of the village of Le Castellet. There were six of us, including four children, and everything went perfectly from start to finish. The staff is truly excellent: welcoming, patient, smiling… and above all, very efficient, which is no small feat with a large family table. A huge plus is the children's menu at €12.50, which is particularly generous and of very good quality; it's rare to find such good value for money in such a touristy area. Special mention goes to Émilie, our waitress, who was highly professional: attentive, quick, and always pleasant. Fast service, a warm atmosphere, and genuine attention to customer service. We highly recommend this place, especially for families. We will gladly return!

An unprecedented selection and very generous portions. The waiter wasn't very flexible, but it was the beginning of the season and the owner made up for it 😉

The waitress was very friendly, the ice cream, crepes, and charcuterie board were generous and very reasonably priced. I also recommend the cider.

Another superb experience at Roy d’Ys in Le Castellet! Refined cuisine, bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. Each dish is a true delight, as beautiful as it is delicious. Everything is meticulously presented, from the dishes to the desserts: a real treat for both the eyes and the palate. The service is equally remarkable: welcoming, professional, and attentive from start to finish. The staff is incredibly kind, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Frankly, for a tourist destination, it's truly wonderful to encounter such warm and friendly people. The calm and elegant setting perfectly complements the experience. A must-visit in the area, one you'll want to return to again and again. Bravo to the entire team!
