Le Pigeonnier sur Vence

Nice terrace in the heart of the old town. Apart from that... restaurant prices for bad bistro food. Rancid foie gras, overcooked mackerel, I really didn't enjoy it.

This is our fourth year coming to Le Pigeonnier in Vence. Always excellent and always such a warm welcome. I highly recommend this place. Thank you and well done! See you next year.

A charming restaurant with a lovely square and large parasols, perfect for enjoying a pleasant time even in the blazing sun. The service is warm and attentive, and the food is excellent. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place.

We ate at Le Colombier restaurant, located on Place du Peyra in old Vence. The restaurant has a large terrace overlooking the square and is housed in a historic building with exposed stone walls. Inside, the atmosphere is quite intimate with only a few tables. The menu offers a wide selection and highlights homemade, market-fresh cuisine. It features several fish dishes, such as sea bream ceviche or fish stew, bouillabaisse-style, alongside various meat dishes. Daily specials on the chalkboard complete the offerings. We ultimately chose the ribeye steak, served with fries and salad. The presentation was simple, and the ingredients were fresh. The welcome was friendly, and the service was professional and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant for a pleasant and peaceful meal in the heart of the historic city.

I had lunch twice in this restaurant which absolutely deserves your attention, both for its sunny location, the taste of the homemade dishes, the kindness and smile of its manager and employees.
