Le Poggio sur Tours

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I'm just as satisfied as before. The food is delicious, the service is quick, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the portions are generous. A great place I'll definitely return to.

This is quite literally the best restaurant I've eaten at since arriving in Tours (just under a year ago): a delight! The service is excellent, the menu is generous yet well-balanced, and the atmosphere was truly pleasant. I'll definitely be back.

A friendly welcome in a green haven next to a pretty pond where fish live alongside turtles.

I booked online, which proved very convenient. I received immediate confirmation of my reservation, which was much appreciated. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given the choice between a table inside or on the terrace. We started with an aperitif accompanied by generous portions of calamari fritti. The only slight drawback was that there was a bit too much ice in the cocktails, which somewhat diluted their flavor. The pizzas, on the other hand, were excellent, very generously topped, and particularly delicious. The waitress kindly offered me a container to take home the rest of my pizza, which I couldn't manage to finish. The ice cream for dessert looked very tempting, but we simply didn't have any more room! I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and I will gladly return. The pizzas are truly excellent, and I highly recommend it.

We come regularly because we appreciate the location, the food, and the value for money. Air conditioning inside and a very nice terrace! However, we've noticed that the staff lacks smiles and humor, which is a shame!

Being able to book remotely and specify special needs, such as the presence of a guide dog, is a real plus, and these needs are very well respected.
