The outdoor area is very pleasant, the food is acceptable, however the welcome is still as cold as ever... a shame

We were very pleasantly surprised; it feels like stepping onto a houseboat. The interior is well-maintained, the summer terrace is lovely, the pizzas are delicious, the lasagne too, and the desserts are divine. We'll be back! 😀

Despite the unexpected absence of a staff member during the lunch rush, with only two people in the dining room, they managed to deliver the "Poggiomen"! I just wish they'd had the pistachio pasta otherwise 👍

The food was decent enough, but the service was quite unpleasant. We felt the waitresses didn't really want to serve us. And the same went for the payment; if you don't want to smile or be friendly with your customers, I certainly won't be giving you my money again. A word to the wise.

We had a wonderful time as a family; the food was delicious and the portions were generous. The saffron risotto with scallops was to die for 🙂 The pizzas were excellent.

03/05/2026: We didn’t have a reservation on a rainy Sunday and were given the option of 3 different 2-top tables on the ground floor. Those who had a reservation were seated on the floor above. We ordered an entree+plat combo. Squid salad + faux filet de bœuf and the velouté carrote + truffled tagliatelles with foie gras and prosciutto. We also sampled the only by-the-glass red from Val de Loire on the menu. 1- dishes are artfully presented; 2-meats and foie gras are cooked to perfection ; 3- value for price paid (on the low side); 4- service was a mix of kind & hospitable (woman) and proud & discriminating (man); 5-building and dining room had so much character. It was a lovely first meal in Tours!

03/05/2026: Another visit to try the pizzas: big mistake. The meat was very low quality, and the onions were huge chunks that completely ruined the flavor of the pizza. The welcome was very warm, the waitress was smiling but slightly too rushed, asking three times in 10 minutes if we had already chosen. The Camembert was excellent (it could be even better with honey). The Nutella tiramisu was sorely lacking in Nutella inside; it was only on top. It's a shame that for a table that requested no heat, the restaurant preferred to turn off the heating for everyone rather than move the table.
