Fantastic experience at Le Poisson d’Or in Mâcon! We had the surprise menu and it was absolutely delicious 😋 Everything was excellent, beautifully presented, and the dishes were lovely. A warm welcome and a very pleasant team. We had a wonderful time, I highly recommend it! 👌

Friendly welcome and service. Spacious rooms with tables perfectly suited to the number of guests. Excellent acoustics, allowing for conversation without disturbing or being disturbed by other patrons. Magnificent setting on the banks of the Saône. Refined cuisine and elegant presentation. Delicious market menu offering excellent value for money. Other menus of high quality.

We had a wonderful time at Le Poisson d'Or.
The setting is superb, the service was excellent, and every dish was delicious.
Special mention goes to our waiter, Roméo, who was very friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal.

A lovely establishment, a welcome cool shaded terrace in this heatwave, a delightful start: a fresh and beautifully presented gazpacho, a very tasty and original tomato-based starter, and for the main course, a black cod with curry, executed with mastery. For dessert, a floating island, normally served with strawberries, which I don't like at all, was replaced by a scoop of mint sorbet. Everything was delicious, the service perfect and pleasant. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back.
