We ate there on a Saturday evening while visiting Toulouse and we were not disappointed at all; the welcome, the service, and the food were excellent. We highly recommend this place.

A truly unique restaurant in an unexpected location by the roadside. The food is homemade. That evening we had sausage flambéed with brandy and suckling pig. For dessert, we had Pastéis de Nata (made that very afternoon). Excellent value for money. We received excellent advice, especially regarding the wine (which was also very reasonably priced).

Atmosphere was superb. Such a charismatic friendly lady running it along with a young girl who had just started who was also so full of energy and enthusiasm. Between my very limited French and some limited English, we managed to order something which I'm not entirely sure was on the menu, but the Steak and chips were delicious. And the Super Bock beer went down very well.

We moved here recently and missed Portuguese food, so we came. The place is welcoming, reminiscent of our grandparents' house. The chicken was spectacular, the flavor of the chicken itself was very good. The potatoes have a seasoning that makes them unique for me. The rice was overcooked, but my husband and son liked it that way. The service; the lady is very friendly, but she was alone, which is the only weak point, and even then she seemed like a machine. Thank you for the experience.

For our late lunch break, we received a wonderful welcome. The place is very welcoming. The typical Portuguese cuisine is truly delicious. We all enjoyed it. It was a very good experience during our stay in Toulouse. Thank you very much.

02/04/2026: I love these homemade dishes, they're so delicious... quick service, and all the staff are very friendly. I'll be back.
02/04/2026: We've already been twice in the space of a month, and we were very warmly welcomed with our stroller. (And thank you for keeping our footmuff!!) The appetizers we tried were very good, and the raclette was particularly delicious. A lovely, flavorful cheese with nice accompaniments, and above all, very friendly service! We plan to come back once a month for our ritual raclette, and even though we were here recently, we're already looking forward to returning.

La Belle Liegeoise

28/02/2026: As a huge fan of Liège waffles, I couldn't pass up this highly anticipated shop. I first tried a waffle with cinnamon batter, chocolate sticks, and chestnut cream, but I found the combination a bit too sweet, so I went back to try a more "traditional" waffle (classic batter and chocolate sticks). The verdict? The price is extremely high for waffles that are decent, but definitely not the best I've ever had. They weren't very caramelized and were a bit dry in the areas where there was only batter. It was fun to try because of the hype, but I won't be going back every weekend.
26/02/2026: Carlos is very friendly and always smiling. I was served very quickly and the waffles were excellent. I recommend it.
