Le Regent sur Calais

Personally, I love it. The calf's liver is magnificent. It reminds me of when my grandmother used to make it for me... Thank you. Located in the city center. Family atmosphere. Don't hesitate to go in.

We had a really good meal, the portions were very generous, and the waitress was super friendly. We were just passing through Bordeaux and were delighted with our stop.

A real treat, from the main course to dessert! We had lunch today at Le Régent, on Boulevard Lafayette in Calais, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The veal escalope with cream and mushrooms was delicious, tender, and a generous portion. For dessert, the Nutella waffles were pure bliss! Quick service, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. A great place to recommend without hesitation!

Me and my wife stopped here on the way back to the tunnel for a coffee, but stayed for lunch, too. I had a cassolette du poison, my wife had the averted, and neither of us could fault it. The price was good and the taste was exceptional! With the coffees, food and a couple of beers it came to just under £42, which I thought was excellent value! We come across to France every year, and I've now marked this on my phone, as we shall definitely stop here in the future. And the staff were very accommodating.
