The hotel is very well located in the city center, the staff are welcoming and very friendly, the rooms are very nice, we had dinner there on Valentine's Day and everything was excellent, the chef was top-notch, all for a reasonable price, and the breakfast was plentiful. In short, a highly recommended place to stay.

The hotel and staff were very charming, and the decor was lovely! The food was very good, and the room was nice but very difficult to heat in winter despite the heating. I stayed several nights as part of a business package; the breakfast was very good. I recommend it!

The owners' welcome, both when booking by phone and upon arrival, deserved 5 stars. Kindness, kindness, and a smile are qualities that are more than welcome in today's society. So thank you, Domitille and Jerome! We spent our weekend in one of their caravans... the bedding and cleanliness were also 5 stars. We were on half-board. The breakfast was very generous and varied. The meals were exquisite and delicious. The service was impeccable. A special mention also goes to their smiling and lovely waitress. Don't change a thing!!! What a joy to spend such a pleasant weekend. We will be back. Georgette and Emmanuel

We stayed a few days at Le Relais. This establishment is exceptional, from the warm welcome of the owners to the absolutely exquisite dinner. The dishes are beautifully presented and so delicious. We received excellent advice on the bottle of wine we enjoyed. Thank you so much. And our spacious, well-decorated, and very practical room delighted us. Finally, the breakfast is worthy of a four-star rating. Sumptuous. We will definitely return!

Sur les pas des saveurs / Pizza Chez l'ancien

01/02/2026: I ordered a pizza for lunch today and get this: with the first bite, I found myself in an evening gown, cooling off in the Trevi Fountain! Who would have thought Italy could be right here in Hauterives? Fai il viaggio!!!
13/12/2025: Great work atmosphere and excellent pizza, my first visit today, even though I live in Anneyron. I'll be back, because in Anneyron it's a minimum of €20.
