The room was good: great bed, nice bathroom, very clean. We got a free upgrade which was nice and a very good gated parking. It is 5-7 minutes from the highway and Tournus is absolutely beautiful!! BUT - we did not sleep very well because the hotel is located near de railway and there was even at night A LOT OF TRAINS and traffic… lots of big trucks and cars during the whole night. A pity, because the hotel is good. BUT - if you keep the windows closed, it won’t be a problem.. but we sleep always with the windows open 😅

We spent one night at the Hôtel du Rempart and were completely satisfied. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast room is beautiful. The restaurant is a great bonus. We recommend it.
