Absolutely outstanding — 10/10! From the moment I walked in to ask for a table, the bilingual English/French owner greeted me with such a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. It was a level of hospitality I haven’t experienced anywhere else during our stay. The food was incredible! honestly, the best I’ve had in a very long time. We started by sharing a generous portion of homemade foie gras, which was absolutely delicious. For the main course, one of us had pork in a creamy mushroom sauce with homemade pasta. The sauce and mushrooms mixed through the pasta were sensational. I chose the magret de canard with teriyaki sauce, served with pasta and the most wonderful selection of vegetables. The presentation was beautiful, it looked like a dish from a high-end restaurant, which was such an unexpected surprise in this small, cosy setting. The new owners have clearly got everything just right: fresh, homemade, top-quality food, presented with an elegant and refined twist. The service was also brilliant throughout. Even though they were clearly short-staffed and working incredibly hard, they never missed a beat. They regularly checked on every table, both inside the restaurant and outside on the terrace, and made sure the service remained excellent. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. We haven’t had a bad restaurant experience during our stay, but we also hadn’t found a truly standout one… until last night. An unforgettable meal and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
