When visiting St Martin Vésubie we were more than delighted when we found this little gem. You feel at home right from the beginning! May is a fantastic host, super attentive, knowledgable, respectful with the guests, perfectly fluent in English and French, always cheerful and with a smile on the lips. And then the food - all 100% homemade, excellent pasta faite maison, meat perfectly prepared, great starters (i recommend trying Lou Panisse, a variant of the regional speciality made of chickpea flour), all prepared very well by Franck who is running the kitchen. Maje sure to start your evening with the excellent Pastis from La Chanenche, artisanal product and no comparision to the rest. Ordered a bottle after getting to know it here.... Excellent restaurant where you immediately feel at ease! The owners are incredibly attentive, very friendly, and genuinely care about their customers. Everything is homemade, from the delicious dishes to the desserts—a special mention for the profiterole, absolutely divine! A wonderful, welcoming place you'll want to return to.
