Absolutely nothing to complain about... Everything is perfect at this restaurant! The welcome, the service, the meal, the ambiance, and even its impeccable hygiene (the toilets and dust are rare enough to mention), everything is perfect!!! This restaurant ticks all the boxes 👌🏻 Special mention to the leg of lamb (cooked to perfection) and the service (both discreet and attentive when needed).

If you want to eat quickly, go for it!! Arrived at 7:20 pm and left at 8:30 pm!! We'd barely started our aperitif when the waiter arrived with the fish soup. So we didn't eat it piping hot!!! The main course was served very quickly afterward. My husband finished his before me, and then someone came to ask if we were done!! Well, no, my plate was still half full!!! And the same thing happened with dessert!!! The waiters need to be briefed because it's really unpleasant! If they want to leave work early, they should find another job!!!

What a wonderful discovery my husband and I made last night! The dishes were generous, beautifully presented, and the food was absolutely excellent! The service was friendly and efficient, which was very pleasant. Special mention for the royal chowder; it was truly delicious. Thank you and well done, don't change a thing. We will gladly return!

20/02/2026: Following a recommendation from a fellow walker, we went into this small, simple but welcoming restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; it was quite busy, but we waited patiently. The meal was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by the food, everything was delicious. I chose a glass of white wine from the Charentes region, which was excellent—a little dry yet also slightly fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Rochefort. Thank you to all the staff. Annie
