Le Royal sur Saint-Chaffrey

Great welcome, very pleasant. It's not necessarily "the place" for a full meal, more for cheap snacks like salads, sandwiches, fries, etc. However, the service is truly excellent, so if you're passing through Chantemerle, stop by! 😉

We came on vacation, so we took the opportunity to visit the Royal. The atmosphere was incredible, the servers were extremely pleasant, smiling, and funny. Everything was perfect! A surprising and very enjoyable experience, especially when a server, whom we nicknamed "Grandpa," didn't believe us when we told him we were adults 😂 Signed, the "kids"

We came to spend our holidays in Serre Chevalier and stayed at the Royal several times. Honestly, we have absolutely no complaints! We especially loved the ice cream server, whom we affectionately nicknamed "Grandpa" 😅. He's truly excellent, super funny, always in a good mood, and has a great sense of humor. Every time we came, he made us laugh and helped make our holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you for your warm welcome and these wonderful moments. We'll definitely be back! Signed: the 18-year-olds… well, apparently it doesn't show! 😂 I hope "Grandpa" recognizes us right away! 🍦😂

I had a small drink at the Royal, and I must mention the very warm welcome from the waiter.

We went there this summer, a great spot, excellent and attentive staff (our dog now begs for sausage!). Keep up the good work, thank you for your warm welcome and friendliness. Very affordable prices.

My brother, who works there seasonally, introduced me to Le Royal, and I highly recommend it! It's excellent value for money for a restaurant right at the foot of the slopes. I recommend the mountain burger, with the raclette cheese as an extra; the meat is tender and juicy, and the cheese has a great flavor. The service is efficient and very friendly.

The après-ski is fantastic! The atmosphere is great, and the prices are reasonable for a mountain resort. But most importantly, the DJ will make sure you have a great time 👍
