Very welcoming and the Burgundy wines are of good quality. The staff are very helpful and assist in choosing the menu as well as with the extras.

Excellent lasagna The ravioli dishes were delicious The floating island was perfect More than attractive prices (€18 for a starter, main course, and dessert of the day) A well-deserved 5 stars! Thank you for this experience

Fantastic! Most customers come to taste wines with a local meal (Époisses cheese). I was taking a break from my travels, so I opted for the set menu (chef's menu) without alcohol. Everything was delicious. Well done on this complete and local menu for under €20.

We opted for the full menu for €30. It wasn't bad, but not incredible either. I'd never tried Époisse cheese before, and I really enjoyed it in the mini tartiflette. However, it didn't go well with the rib-eye steak; I felt like the meat had been soaked in butter. Finally, the dessert was really cold (a crème caramel because I ran out of babaaurhum, yes, crunchy chocolate). Yes, it's basically cold, but this one was just too cold. So I could philosophize about what's cold enough and what's too cold... This one was just too cold. In short, added to the passable decor and the halfway convincing service...

A menu featuring regional specialties. Very good dishes and friendly service. We discovered Semur-en-Auxois and will return for a longer stay, and will gladly return to the Saint-Vernier.

While passing through the region, we discovered this charming little restaurant, with hearty and very good cuisine. A real children's menu as well, starter, main course and dessert just like for adults. Beautiful menus at more than reasonable prices. And above all, an extremely kind server who takes the time. A great address! Remember to book

25/11/2025: Excellent! The only downside was that I asked for some fries to try and was charged an extra €6...without being told beforehand! Expensive fries!!!
14/11/2025: A beautiful establishment, steeped in history and tastefully decorated. The home-style cooking is excellent; the calf's head is superb, the freshwater fish dishes are delicious, and the desserts are delightful. The wine list is lovely and original. The place looks very inviting for a drink with friends and a few board games. All this in the picturesque heart of Semur-en-Auxois, a small town we love. We will be back.
