Le Salina hotel panorama sur Mont-Dore

Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel wasn't great. The bar and restaurant had pleasant decor. The superior room (340) was adequate except for the outdated windows, tiny bathroom with noisy plumbing, and no soundproofing. The standard rooms were very dreary. The pool was a good size and the temperature was perfect, but the surrounding area, ceiling, and staircase were really unpleasant to look at. Dinner was good but too large for my taste (especially the ravioli). Breakfast was good except for the low-quality honey. The staff were charming and attentive. In short, for me, it's a good establishment, but not up to the standard of a three-star hotel I frequent. The main drawback, for me, is that the rooms need to be made more welcoming.

The hotel is really well located, with a superb view of Mont Dore and the valley. The heated pool also has a view. The room was very nice. The restaurant was excellent; we ate very well, both the cocktails and the main courses were truly high quality. We had our baby with us, and they were very easy to work with and well-suited to our needs. And the staff were absolutely fantastic. A huge thank you for your warm welcome, your helpfulness, and your attentiveness in every department (reception, restaurant manager, housekeeping, breakfast staff, etc.).

We had a wonderful weekend. The executive family room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We loved relaxing in the heated pool overlooking the hills. The beautifully renovated restaurant offers high-quality, creative local cuisine. A huge thank you to Chef Eric, a passionate and attentive chef who even had the lovely touch of leaving us a snack! A big thank you also to his team, who were always smiling and helpful. A welcoming place that we highly recommend!

We spent two nights at this hotel. The welcome was warm and the staff were eager to please, even going so far as to provide snow removal equipment for our vehicles! The breakfast was plentiful and the Moroccan crepes were delicious. The restaurant was excellent after a long day; the portions were generous and the food was tasty. And let's not forget the pool, which was the perfect temperature for relaxing. As an added bonus, we received a thoughtful touch upon our departure. Thank you so much! I highly recommend it.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel, the rooms are clean and the food is very good but what impressed us most was the kindness of the team especially the chef to whom we wanted to say thank you and goodbye at the end of the trip but unfortunately we were late.

It does have a pool which is what tipped it for us. The pool itself was clean and warm but the pool space is in need of renovation. Our room was small with a tight bathroom but clean and fresh. Breakfast was ok and could easily be improved (no muesli?) with better coffee and tea. The open fire in the evenings is a welcoming touch and generally staff were helpful and welcoming.

I chose this place to celebrate my wife's birthday. They were very attentive to my request for a surprise, see photos. A warm and friendly welcome. The evening meal was all-you-can-eat raclette, which was excellent. The chef was outstanding, and the staff had a great rapport with people. Thank you.

Top-notch hotel and restaurant, attentive staff, lovely heated pool, easy walking access to town, excellent food, generous breakfast, shuttle to the ski resort right outside the hotel. Well done!
