What can I say about this place... Always so delicious and the sundaes are so beautiful.

Street vendors sell truly delicious ice cream. The system is: first, you pay at the register on the left, receive a token/receipt, and then you can choose your flavor from the ice cream counters on the right. The whole thing seems like a tourist trap, but the ice cream is really good and the portion (we had cones with two scoops each) was generous. At €2 per scoop (as of August 2026), it's not too expensive, especially since the cone is also made of delicious biscuits.

Enjoyed a superb ice cream sundae on-site – a truly generous portion. The server was very pleasant and the service was quick. A must-try!

I've been going there regularly for years. Generous scoops and the quality of the ice cream is excellent. Not too sweet and very flavorful.

Okay, but I've seen better; the terrace is too small to accommodate everyone.

A delightful ice cream break that truly lives up to its name! Sunday afternoon, under a glorious sun and temperatures nearing 29°C (84°F), we strolled through the beautiful walled city of Saint-Malo, which was particularly lively. With this heat, an ice cream was definitely in order! We first arrived at the Sanchez stand: a multitude of flavors, endless colors… a veritable ice cream paradise! But the queue was incredibly long. Looking next door, we discovered Instant de Sanchez, a small annex offering Italian-style ice cream. And there, a wonderful surprise: no wait at all! You pay at the register, choose the size of your ice cream, with or without toppings, then head to the counter to select your flavor. The service is quick and very well organized. In the end, we probably spent more time choosing than waiting for our ice creams! And what a selection it was! I'd never seen so many different flavors offered for Italian-style sorbet. And the toppings... whipped cream, M&M's, caramel, chocolate, red berry coulis: it was hard to resist! I chose a large cone with red berry and lemon flavors, an extra dollop of whipped cream, and then a second, exotic flavor with an M&M's topping. It was really delicious! The flavors were very pronounced, and the cone's waffle cone was perfectly crisp. One small drawback: given the heat, the sorbet melted very quickly, so you had to be quick! Perhaps I bit off more than I could chew with the large portion... but in the end, I finished it all! A very pleasant treat, with an impressive selection of flavors and fast service. The only slight downside: it's still quite expensive, especially with the extras. A very good experience nonetheless, and a very nice place for ice cream and sorbet lovers!

I came here just for the Italian ice cream. And I wasn't disappointed at all by this homemade Italian ice cream. You can tell by the taste. It's been a long time since I've tasted such good Italian ice cream.

Lots of flavours to choose from but I didn't like the ice cream very much, it wasn't creamy enough and it was hard. Prices for one scoop are €4 and two scoops are €7.
