We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant for our son's christening. The service was efficient, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We all had a wonderful time and will gladly return.

We celebrated our civil wedding in this venue with its simply exceptional setting. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the location and the quality of the service. Stéphane and his entire team demonstrated great professionalism, making this afternoon and evening unforgettable. We organized our daughter's wedding at Le Septentrion. Living 1000 km away, we needed a turnkey service and a relationship built on trust: we got both. The food was excellent (especially the delicious oysters and curried prawns during the cocktail hour... but everything was good) and the service was very attentive. The bride and groom were delighted, and they loved the atmosphere of the venue (a renovated historic farmhouse), which was bucolic, cozy, and unpretentious. We thank Mr. Couronnel and his team, who took such good care of us and coordinated the DJ, the video projector, and everything else.

Our first meeting with one of the restaurant's waitresses was a success, and we booked for our wedding. A second meeting with the owner to finalize the details was awkward; his teasing, overly forward manner made us hesitate. After reading reviews, we decided to keep the reservation. On the day, the weather wasn't cooperating, but we had been promised a tent on the terrace with outdoor heating. Upon arrival, the tables were beautifully set, and the instructions had been followed. The terrace wasn't ready, so we couldn't have drinks outside. The service was inconsistent; there were some hiccups with the wine, but it was very good. The owner was rather intrusive, but it was manageable. The meal was good and well-presented. Then came the dessert buffet: a huge disappointment! One chocolate cake, one strawberry cake, a few crepes Suzette, and a meager chocolate fountain tucked away in a corner. We were served two glasses of champagne, and then the service stopped! There was a moment of awkward silence, but my godfather took charge and started pouring drinks for the guests. We had to keep asking for bottles of champagne, which arrived one by one with a long gap between each one. I was about to lose my patience. In the end, each guest got only one glass of our own champagne, which we'd brought the day before, and a small slice of cake—not two—and everything was quickly cleared away; the children didn't even have time to taste it. After an hour of dancing, we left at 5:45 pm. The photographer and my maid of honor were refused a glass of water before leaving! The setting was beautiful, but the owner was a real spoilsport, and the menu was overpriced, especially since our champagne was used for the aperitif and dessert. Even though there was no corkage fee, it was still advantageous for them.

A very good quality restaurant, although a bit pricey, in a beautiful, quiet, and green setting. The owners are very friendly.
