An exceptional culinary experience!” The Brasserie Sophocle in Antibes is a real favorite. The welcome is warm and the service impeccable. All the dishes were delicious, but what really impressed me were the fantastic desserts: creative, delicious, and perfectly executed. A place not to be missed for a quality meal and a pleasant, friendly experience.

Le Figuier de Saint Esprit

21/03/2026: We opted for the under-28 tasting menu and it was delicious. A wonderful opportunity to discover fine dining in a beautiful setting with impeccable service.
16/03/2026: Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit in old Antibes is the restaurant that earns its two Michelin stars with complete conviction. Chef Christian Morisset has been cooking Provençal cuisine in this beautiful old town house for years and the kitchen operates with the assurance of a team that has made this food so many times it has become instinct. The fig tree in the courtyard is the signature — you eat beneath it in summer and the whole experience has a dreamlike quality that the Riviera at its best produces so naturally. The cooking celebrates Provençal ingredients without apology — truffles from the region, fish from the boats at the old port minutes away, vegetables from the countryside behind the coast. The bouillabaisse is one of the definitive versions in Provence. The desserts — particularly anything involving local figs or lavender honey — are extraordinary. Antibes is underrated relative to its famous neighbors Cannes and Nice and this restaurant is part of why the people who know the coast best spend their time here.
