A stunning view overlooking the ocean, very friendly waiters, and a very good meal. We enjoyed the excellent mussels with cream and Basque cider and had the Basque cake for dessert.

03/02/2026: The best restaurant in Saint Jean! Everything is truly delicious, fresh and seasonal produce, healthy and gourmet cuisine. And unbeatable value for money!
28/11/2025: The best lunch menu in SJDL is a Bocata sandwich paired with on of their incredible natural wines - it can't get better than that! The service is always very sweet even when the lunch crowd takes over and their desserts always make for the perfect way to end a good meal.

25/01/2026: The architecture alone is worth a visit to this restaurant. The friendly welcome from a waitress who seems to have borrowed her favorite painter's white overalls will lead you into the cider house, which we'll definitely be back to try. The lunch we recently had showcased a well-prepared selection of classic dishes, which could be complemented by pot-au-feu, herring with potatoes in oil, or calf's head with gribiche or ravigote sauce. Everything was good, but when I order steak tartare, I prefer to prepare it myself! Hygiene is no excuse. We recommend it.
11/01/2026: Dinner for 7 on a Saturday night. Efficient service. Tasty and very generous portions. The omelets and meat were cooked perfectly.
