A superb three-course dinner! The rack of lamb melted in your mouth... The restaurant truly deserves its Maître Restaurateur label. Maëva was the server, always smiling and clearly enjoying her work – thank you!

Refined cuisine, fresh and high-quality ingredients, a lovely wine cellar, and a very pleasant and smiling waitress. The service was very well organized. I highly recommend this establishment.

We've been coming to Le Sud restaurant for a long time and the food is always excellent. The service is also excellent, with a special mention for Maeva for her warm welcome: she's very friendly and professional. It's lovely to see a young woman so dedicated to her work. A must-visit in Pau.

Fantastic author's cuisine presented in an approachable dish. Each of the 3 courses in the lunch menu were unique and well presented and most of all an absolute pleasure for your palate.

For the price you pay, you are better qoing elsewhere. We ordered the steak and asked to make it medium but it came out rare and cold. Then we asked them to cook it well done and still came out medium-rare. They keep the steak ‘heated’ on small candles lol. Fois gras was ok. The food portions were good however and the ambience excellent. Would not go here again but would recommend going once to try.
