Very good restaurant. Excellent Galician ribeye steak. The dining room can be noisy at times.

Fantastic author's cuisine presented in an approachable dish. Each of the 3 courses in the lunch menu were unique and well presented and most of all an absolute pleasure for your palate.

For the price you pay, you are better qoing elsewhere. We ordered the steak and asked to make it medium but it came out rare and cold. Then we asked them to cook it well done and still came out medium-rare. They keep the steak ‘heated’ on small candles lol. Fois gras was ok. The food portions were good however and the ambience excellent. Would not go here again but would recommend going once to try.

Impeccable service from a smiling and attentive young woman. Ordinary paper placemats and napkins, a real shame considering the price. The food was pretty good. Not the best value for money.

The art exhibition creates a very pleasant atmosphere, although the room is quite noisy. The service is excellent. The food is good quality, but not up to par with some downtown restaurants. Even so, the bill is still steep...

An excellent experience! The restaurant staff are truly wonderful: their kindness, smiles, and attentiveness add even more charm to the place. A very pleasant surprise, with a special mention for the sea bream we enjoyed this evening: a real treat. The food is delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere very pleasant. A big thank you to the entire team at Le Sud restaurant! A true delight! Thank you! We had a wonderful time!

19/01/2026: Excellent as usual! Pork knuckle and Martinique-style slaw are a winning combination! A big thank you to Charlotte and the whole team :)
08/01/2026: A slice of Bearn with all the classic local dishes. Fresh regional produces. Desserts are awesome and there is a large selection of homemade icecreams and sorbets. Service is super fast and staff is very friendly highlighting the french south west welcoming spirit. A must stop over for a lunch or dinner if you visit Pau. There are convenient parking spaces in front and back.

07/09/2025: We were pleasantly surprised. We had a skewer and a steak, and it was delicious. Everything was grilled (you can watch it while it's cooking), cooked to perfection, and the meat was top quality. If we return to Pau, we'll definitely return.
