Cafe Morand

08/08/2026: There were five of us, and due to a staffing issue, we were asked to come back 30 minutes later. We did so and received a very warm welcome. The food was healthy. The prices were a bit high for simple ingredients, but that's the price you pay for good food in the center of Besançon. The Comtois galette is definitely worth the trip.
06/07/2026: Delicious lunch, beautiful terrace, and friendly service. It was a Monday and technically there was a time limit, but we were allowed to stay a bit longer.

27/08/2026: Lovely terrace, generous portions, friendly service. Dessert not amazing.
25/08/2026: We were incredibly lucky to get a table without a reservation, and we weren't disappointed. We found our go-to restaurant for delicious mussels! The quantity and quality were both excellent! More on that later 😀
