Le Tonneau sur Lons-Le-Saunier

A must-visit spot in the very centre of Lons-le-Saunier to have a drink, a coffee or a meal on the terrace.

Impeccable welcome and service. Delicious and generous portions. Served quickly. Reasonable prices. Perfect!

One question keeps nagging at me: we're on the terrace, the sun is shining brightly, it's very hot, but why aren't the parasols open? Several people have set up right in front of the entrance (and even then, the awning isn't fully extended), while others have chosen to stay inside. The terrace could be much busier if there were more shade.

I recommend it; we came to eat. And the waitress with glasses was very pleasant and professional.

A brasserie with a magnificent terrace, friendly staff, and generous portions. Plus, there's parking for motorcycles. A truly pleasant stop.
