The food was truly excellent from start to finish: the main courses were served on piping hot plates, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was quick (there were 22 of us!). As for value for money, it was unbeatable: for two people, we paid €43.80 for a three-course meal (starter, main, dessert, one glass of wine per person, and one coffee)! We highly recommend this restaurant.

I came this Sunday at lunchtime and I'd say it's a very good restaurant, with a very friendly welcome and refined cuisine. I ordered a set menu that included a glass of wine with each course and I don't regret it. Don't hesitate to stop by. I think it's best to book ahead. A very pleasant experience without breaking the bank.

I stopped by for dinner one evening and received a warm welcome and excellent service. As for the food, I opted for the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. Highly recommended!

Delicious restaurant, I recommend the wine pairing, very refined, a lovely experience. Attentive to tastes and pleasant surprises with natural wines. Beautifully cooked dishes, fresh and expertly prepared vegetables.

A wonderful discovery in Thouars. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The dishes were of high quality with perfectly executed wine pairings. The welcome was very pleasant and the prices are quite reasonable for such a high-quality experience. I highly recommend this establishment.

The atmosphere and service were pleasant. However, one thing caught my attention: the price. For a vegetarian option with quinoa and a few vegetables, anything over €15 seems inappropriate… In short, it's not a bad restaurant and I had a good time, but the vegetarian options need improvement.

21/07/2026: I was told, "Come, you'll see, the decor is great and the food is delicious." And one lunchtime, I found myself on a banquette in the "Café des Arts." The decor was like the colors. But this change of scenery suited me. As did the delicate, colorful plates on the neighboring tables. On the menu were gnocchi. Usually, they're not my thing. But there, I would have... I would have devoured every last bit. And everything was delicate and balanced, colors and flavors. A delight for the eyes and a joy for the taste buds. A delight for the starter, another for the main course. Would you care for dessert? Let's have a little something sweet. The cherry on top. The feeling of having eaten in a restaurant from a bygone era, of having taken the time to savor, of having settled my humble posterior into a culinary adventure from another time. The arts are well preserved here. And they're privy to the secrets of a café's kitchen. Thank you.
