The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere unwatchable. The waiter was very helpful and friendly, even though we were not speaking the same language. The staff was very attentive and with a smile on their faces, the tables were clean and the serving time was surprisingly fast. The food was very good. I tried the Welsh Complet and it was super good (and very fulfilling, i suggest to come here with an empty stomach). The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The decor is very suiting and nostalgic. I highly recommend you to come here!

Second visit to Rijsel. We had a very pleasant time in this typical pub. The service is friendly and relaxed. The carbonnade was very good, as were the homemade fries. It's a shame that everything is served together on the plate. I remember that the first time, the carbonnade was served separately. A small green salad would be a nice touch. Otherwise, very good.

A superb lunch... a warm and spontaneous welcome... Our dog was kindly accepted: cuddles and a bowl of water... A bistro just the way we like them... where it's lovely to spend a pleasant time in excellent company around a good table... We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will gladly return with our dog.

Thank you for your warm welcome, especially since we were with our four-legged friend (our Basset Hound), who also received a five-star welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal... the Welsh rarebit was succulent... All this in a setting reminiscent of a bygone era, like a true traditional pub. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. *attention for vegetarian/pescatarian: the french fries are fried in beef tallow, be sure to specify you want mashed potatoes as a side. Very cozy, warm place, lovely decorations, seating is quite tight. Hearty food, nice service. The place gets really crowded starting from 12.30. Arrive early or book in advance. We had a bit of a hiccup with the fries, but the staff was super nice about it

06/07/2025: If you're looking for delicious, high-quality galettes, then you've come to the right place. The service is excellent; the aperitif and meal were served neither too quickly nor too slowly, perfectly timed. As for the aperitif, the Breton spritz (Aperol + cider) was a superb discovery; I recommend it to those who enjoy spritz. As for the meal, the ingredients are high-quality, the galettes are delicious, and the price is reasonable. The chtiflette was excellent. As for dessert, I didn't order any, but the other tables' dishes looked excellent. However, the price of the desserts seemed a little high. I 100% recommend this place for a quick, warm, and comforting meal. Thank you.

29/03/2026: The Morisson is a friendly and versatile spot: a restaurant at lunchtime and a bar in the evening, making it a great place to go at any time of day. Its biggest strength is definitely the concept: all pints are €5 (except for the Paix Dieu), and best of all, there's no happy hour – the price is the same all day long. Frankly, it's rare and incredibly convenient; no need to keep an eye on the time. The atmosphere is convivial, especially in the evening, with a great vibe. At lunchtime, it's quieter, which is perfect for a relaxed meal.
