Le Trou sur Dijon

Following a recommendation, we visited this hidden wine bar and were taken on a wonderful culinary journey into the world of wine. Olivier is a very friendly host and surprised us with excellent wines. We'll definitely come back here.

This cellar is definitely a very beautiful and very good address 🤗 Tip top welcome, fast and perfect service!! Blind tasting of 5 wines with a superb charcuterie board followed by excellent eggs en meurette....... Wow, very very nice especially in very good company 😉!! For each wine tasted (white and red), it's up to you to try to guess the origin, the grape varieties and if possible the year!! We are often surprised at this little game, even for old vintages 😊 So a great place to discover, this vaulted cellar is superb and almost invisible from the street!

Incredible experience! Blind tasting of 8 vintage wines (white, red, sweet). The selection of wine is undoubtedly excellent. Though challenging to guess the specifics, the knowledgeable staff provided great insights. Highly recommended for wine enthusiasts visiting Dijon.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Address specializing in old wines which is absolutely worth the detour. Owner and staff driven by a passion for good wines who will direct you according to your desires! Don’t hesitate to take a step aside and give wines other than Burgundy a chance. Because our French regions and abroad are full of gems and winegrowers of great talent!

If there is only one wine bar to visit in Dijon, this is it. Generosity is present both in the cuisine and in the wines. Only here can you taste stunning Beaujolais, or simple village appellations, if we stay in Burgundy, but which, aged, satisfy your nose and palate. We also really fell in love with the homemade four-spice pâté. A sure value!

While passing through Dijon and on the recommendation of the RVF, we spent the evening at the Caveau de Saulx. They offer tasting packages of (very) old vintages...blind! Sometimes we hit the nail on the head, sometimes we are completely off base! No matter, the server is there to guide us and discuss. And be careful, the boards are gargantuan! In short, an excellent evening tasting rare bottles, having fun, all with a great soundtrack! We don't recommend it, it's an obligation to go!

We decided to try this as it seemed very intriguing. To get to the place, you walk down a steep set of stairs into the wine cave. It is a very nice place, well decorated. The staff is very friendly and informative. We ordered the blind tasting and the meat and cheese platters. The platters were very good and we were happy with them. The wine on the other hand was rubbish. I would recommend better quality wines for teaching people tastes and regions.

Descendre sans hésiter ! très belle découverte ce jeudi soir entre collègues et amies. Le caveau se mérite, la descente n'est pas aisée et l'extérieur (entrée de cave) guère engageant. Mais une fois en bas ... accueil fort sympathique, déco superbe, salon confortable, et vins dégustés à l'aveugle ... excellents ! Un grand MERCI à Olivier et toute son équipe pour cet endroit magnifique, unique dans DIJON. Nous reviendrons, c'est certain !
