Excellent experience at this restaurant after visiting Hautefort Castle. The dishes and desserts were delicious and the service was perfect. Prices were a little high, but the quality was there. We will definitely return!

Delicious meal and "icing on the cake": the two waitresses are very smiley, which is very pleasant.

Exquisite cuisine that tastes homemade (a characteristically short menu), exceptional foie gras, charming staff, prompt service, very reasonable prices for the quality, and a peaceful setting. A wonderful experience that we highly recommend.

We had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant during our visit to the castle, and what a surprise! We were expecting a tourist trap... but no! The welcome was incredibly warm, the dishes were delicious, generous, and homemade, from the appetizer to the dessert; even the bread was good! And yet, after six days in the Périgord region, we ate at six different restaurants for about €30 per person, and Le Troubadour deserves five stars! I highly recommend this little restaurant!
